The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Disease, published by the Research Department of Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital, Indonesia, was first published in 2013. It became an online journal in 2018 and has been completely available through the Open Journal System (OJS).
The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Disease is published periodically biannual (July and December). The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Disease is an open-access scientific journal in Indonesian and English, publishing research articles, case reports, and literature reviews. We focus on infectious diseases, including emerging diseases, new emerging disease issues, and tropical medicine. Submitted articles will undergo a double-blind review by the editorial team and external reviewers (Peer review)
The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Disease is accredited as SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, according to Letter Number 0385/E5.3/KI.02.00/2022.
Focus and Scope
The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Diseases aims to disseminate and facilitate discussions on scientific papers related to health, particularly focusing on infectious diseases including emerging diseases, new emerging disease issues, and tropical medicine.
The journal serves as a communication medium for various stakeholders interested in health research, including researchers, educators, students, healthcare practitioners, the Department of Health, Public Health Service, and the general public with an interest in this field. It endeavors to address the increasing demand for studying infectious diseases.

There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) for any submitted article in The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Diseases. This includes all aspects of the publishing process, such as peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, archiving, and granting immediate access to the full-text versions of the articles.
