The Indonesian Journal of Infectious Diseases (IJID) is a peer-reviewed publication by Sulianti Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital that focuses on infectious diseases, including emerging diseases, new emerging disease issues, and tropical medicine. IJID has been released biannually in the Indonesian language since 2013. Starting from 2018, IJID has been completely available through the Open Journal System (OJS).

 

Focus and Scope

The International Journal of Infectious Diseases (IJID) aims to disseminate and facilitate discussions on scientific papers related to health, particularly focusing on infectious diseases.

The journal serves as a communication medium for various stakeholders interested in health research, including researchers, educators, students, healthcare practitioners, the Department of Health, Public Health Service, and the general public with an interest in this field. It endeavors to address the increasing demand for studying infectious diseases.

 

Peer Review Process

The journal follows a peer-review process to ensure the scientific validity of published articles. Experts in the relevant fields review submitted manuscripts, which helps maintain the standard of scientific methodology and ethical behavior in research.

Article Processing Charges

There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) for any submitted article in IJID. This includes all aspects of the publishing process, such as peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining, archiving, and granting immediate access to the full-text versions of the articles.
